Jalna is an administrative district in the westernmost state of Maharashtra, India. The district headquarters is at Jalna. Aurangabad Division includes the district. The area of ​​the district is 7718 square kilometers. There are total 970 colonies. Jamb Samarth Vasti is famous in the district as the birth place of Samarth Ramdas Swami. Jalna is bordered by Parbhani and Buldhana to the east, Aurangabad to the west, Jalgaon to the north and Beed to the south.
